Charismatic, energetic and just a wee bit sarcastic… I’m passionate about not only delivering a perfect ceremony, but also ensuring you feel comfortable, relaxed and excited to be standing at the altar with your forever love.

My story began a few years ago at a wedding….

I wish I could tell you that this was a lifelong dream of mine…. but this kind of was an accidental discovery. I attended a wedding in March 2019 where the celebrant really captivated the guests. I remember thinking what an incredible experience it must be to stand with couples as they promise forever to one another.
Fast forward 5 or so months, my best friend was planning to marry the man of her dreams. She made a passing comment along the lines of “it would be so cool if you were a celebrant, you’d be perfect for the job”. So naturally I took that as a sign and looked into the process. I didn’t think much would come of it, maybe I’d book some friends and family and it’d be a cool little hobby to do… little did I know I’d catch the wedding industry bug.
So now here we are, a few years later and my seasons are booking up quickly. That celebrant who captivated me that day is now my friend and mentor, Rose Haskell!

In a past life, I was a qualified early childhood kaiako. I graduated the University of Canterbury in 2016, and spent several years hanging with the tamariki of our community. In 2022, I welcomed my son into the world, and since then my focus has shifted. I no longer want to hustle, grind and work myself into oblivion. I want to make the most of the fleeting moments we get as parents to our little people. So this job is even more precious to me now. I get to have flexibility for my wee whānau, and be apart of something where I get to make connections and create something super special. My summers are bursting with love, laughter and fun as I celebrate alongside epic couples on their special day- I am so grateful for every booking, this is a very small business built from a heckin’ lot of love.

So I guess you could say that I’m a people person. I love to hear your stories, no matter how small and unexciting they may seem to you, they are my favourite part of the job. When you lock me in, you are gaining a pal for life because I get so truly invested in your journey, that I can’t let go!
